About the Project
La Teacup is a fictitious brand in which I created to showcase the design of an E-commerce experience on the Shopify environment.
The Goal
To create a unique Shopify E-commerce theme.
Design Challenge
The design needed to be simple and elegant. This is intended to be a theme in which a company looking for a simple theme may use. The focus is on the products itself through the use of imagery. Typography used is an elegant serif paired with a legible sans-serif font.
My Responsibilities
I created simple wireframes and designed "in the browser." It was a quick prototype at first and was refined. I used the timber framework, Shopify's theme development framework, which is a "barebones" structure that designers and developers can use to create their own design in Shopify with some basic Shopify-specific liquid code.
